If you are questioning, “Can I get a payment protection plan refund?” the answer you were looking for depends on whether or not you have been mis-sold payment protection insurance or had PPI misrepresented in any way whatsoever. If you will were temporarily employed, self-employed, or were not employed at least 16 hours a week then you were not eligible to take the policy and if the lender sold it to you anyway it was blatantly mis-sold. As well, if you were over the age of 65 or had any pre-existing medical conditions you would not be eligible for cover and the policy would have been mis-sold. For any number of reasons if the lender misrepresented what the policy could do, forced you into taking it as a condition for getting the loan or simply attached it to your loan unbeknownst to you, then you qualify to file a claim for a payment protection plan refund. Richard Branson’s British Virgin Island Company is in rows with conservationists over intends to convert the island into a conservation zone for endangered lemurs.
The BVI Company retreat bid to prepare an eco-island that will help save the species in danger of extinction but has come face to face with bother after the environmentalists objected.
Branson, who is the fifth wealthiest person in the world, released the plans to carry lemurs from breeding zoos around the world and release them on a spotless Caribbean island in an effort to shield the primates and enable them to breed. Sir Richard had pledged to turn it into the globe’s most eco friendly island.
Nonetheless, ecologists have opposed the move warning that the release of the creatures, that have voracious appetites, would wipe out the native flora and fauna on the island. The unusual dwarf gecko is said to be in particular at risk from the ‘aggressive, omnivorous’ lemurs.
Until the rows are wrapped up, the British Virgin tycoon has agreed to keep the lemurs in large enclosures until even more research is carried out. The billionaire paid £10 million for the island in which 120 acres will home the pens of lemurs.
